MIND BODY SOULUTIONS
AN INDEPENDENT COUNSELING GROUP
Eden's Story
Beyond therapy, Eden is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, substance use, and suicidal thoughts. Having experience working for Samaritas, she completed trauma assessments with children ages 3–17, deepening her understanding of how early experiences can shape emotional well-being and development. Eden also holds her CADC and has experience facilitating outpatient substance use groups and supporting individuals through their recovery journeys.
Before becoming a social worker, Eden worked in inpatient mental health as a psychiatric technician and in case management at a community mental health agency, supporting individuals experiencing behavioral and mental health crises. These experiences shaped her passion for meeting people where they are, helping them navigate difficult moments, and advocating for individuals as they work through the often-complicated systems surrounding mental health care.
Outside of counseling, Eden enjoys live music at festivals and concerts, spending time with family, reading, and exploring the arts. She also enjoys gardening and sees it as a meaningful analogy for life. Sometimes life becomes overgrown and messy, and we have to take a closer look at what is helping us grow and what may need to be pruned. Sometimes we discover that our environment is no longer allowing us to flourish and we need the courage to uproot and find a place with more light. Eden believes therapy can be a space to tend to your own garden—to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and create the conditions you need to grow.
